We could not be more excited to share this gorgeous Lodge at Ballantyne Wedding! The Lodge at Ballantyne is such a unique and amazing venue! It has a beautiful location for the ceremony that overlooks the golf course at the Ballantyne Hotel. Inside the Lodge is a beautiful stone double-sided fire place that splits the large reception area. On one side there is a large dance floor. The other side holds all of the tables for dinner! The coolest part of this venue is that you can reserve the entire place for the weekend. This means you can have all of your family and friends in one spot and not have anyone around that you don’t know.
While this venue is seriously a dream, our amazing couple that is even better! We first met Joseph and Julie at a coffee shop along with their dog Taz. As soon as we met them, we knew we wanted to be a part of their special day. They are so down-to-earth and are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet! When we did their engagement session, we got to reunite with Taz and he could not have been cuter!!
The wedding was finally here and we arrived and met up with them separately. I spent the early hours with Julie getting ready while Corey was with Joseph. All of her closest friends and Mom were there to help as she put the finishing touches on while Joseph did the same!
It was time for the ceremony and I have to say it was such an emotional, beautiful, ceremony. They said “I do” and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We stole them away to capture photos of their wedding party and just the two of them.
It was time to introduce them for the reception! They kept the party going all night with the help of Split Second Sound.
