We could not be more excited for this couple’s wedding next year!! From the moment we sat down with them for a consultation, we knew these two would be a dream to work with. On top of that they told us they wanted to have their pup in their engagement photos, which is seriously always my favorite thing!
We met up with Joseph and Julie to go walk-through their venue for their wedding. Their beautiful wedding will take place at The Lodge at Ballantyne Hotel. We walked around the area where their outdoor ceremony took place and it made us even more excited. It overlooks all the greenery and the lodge itself which is made of beautiful stone. After seeing their beautiful wedding venue, it was even more clear why a nature engagement session in Charlotte was the perfect place to do their session.
After our walk-through, we drove out to do their nature engagement session. These two have such a beautiful style and looked gorgeous! They even had a new collar for Taz their sweet pup, who is seriously awesome. He was off-leash during most of our session and just hung out near us till it was his time to shine. Which he did just that. He gave us some of the sweetest moments and photos of the three of them.
We started on an abandoned road and then moved over to a nature trail complete with a wooden bridge. It was a great backdrop for them. It was beautiful but kept the focus on the two of them, which is exactly how it should be! Julie had a beautiful flowing dress. She looked gorgeous! These two kept each other laughing the entire time and had so much just being together. We cannot wait for their wedding day!! It is sure to be a perfect day!
