When we first talked with them, they mentioned Charlotte was important to them. This made it the perfect backdrop for their engagement session because it was a meaningful place to them. Mackenzie is finishing up grad school outside of Charlotte so we found a time that would work for both of their schedules to meet for their Uptown Charlotte engagement session.
We decided to meet at Marshall Park in Uptown Charlotte to start their session. They both showed up and looked amazing. They were perfectly coordinated and made it look like doing a photo session was a breeze! After shooting around Marshall Park we walked over to the courthouse area to get some more shots of the two of them.
Once we finished up over in that area, we decided to head over to the Mint Museum area. This is my favorite part of Uptown. There are so many beautiful spots in and around this area, which gives you such a bright and airy feel on its own. Mackenzie and Zach changed into their second outfit and looked picture perfect from head to toe. Their style is impeccable.
We started at the Mint Museum and then walked over to the park across the street. That park has the prettiest deep green covered wall. We wrapped up our session at the convention center, which is officially my favorite walkway in Charlotte.
These two kept each other smiling the entire time and were such good sports in the colder weather at the end of the evening. Their wedding in 2020 at The Hotel Concord is going to be amazing and we cannot wait to work with these two again!
