Elkin Creek Vineyard Wedding outside of Charlotte, North Carolina

I am completely obsessed with this Elkin Creek Vineyard Wedding just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. First of all let me just obsess over the venue for a minute. It is tucked away down a winding road, which makes it all the more peaceful and serene. When you pull up there is a fork in the road. One road leads to cabins you can rent out and stay in on property, while the other leads to the vineyard and the winery.

First we went to the vineyard and winery, since this was our first time here. You immediately see rows and rows of the grape vines, which makes me so excited! I couldn’t wait to get our bride and groom and shoot photos here! If you follow the road along the backside you come across Elkin Creek running along the side of the property. This was where our ceremony would be later that day. They have this beautiful beach along the creek that makes this property even more unique.

As we went back to the entrance, we turned down the road to get to the cabins, where our bride Anastasia and groom Brandon were getting ready for the exciting day ahead. Now cue the obsessing over the wedding. Anastasia’s wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous. It had beautiful details, complete with a blush flower belt. Her bouquet was so pretty! It had a variety of different pink and white flowers and had her grandmother’s ring tied around the base.

We made our way to the ceremony and watched them finally become husband and wife. As the ceremony completed, we were so excited to get to steal this couple away to get photos. We started at the top of the vineyard, where there was an amazing windmill. As we made our way down through the vineyard, we got to go into the barrel room, which was one of the coolest things we have gotten to see! We ended our session at the beach, where our bride went in to the water!

The day ended with an awesome reception, complete with the bride’s father performing! It was such a great day and we are so happy we got to be there!
