We are so excited to share this beautiful summer Ivy Place Wedding in Lancaster, South Carolina! This summer wedding took place in June with the ceremony taking place on the front lawn of the Ivy Place.
Scott and Lexie are the sweetest together!! From the moment we met them, we were so excited to be a part of their Ivy Place wedding day. They keep each other laughing and it is so evident how in love they are with each other. We started the wedding day at the bridal cottage on site at the Ivy Place. As we arrived, Lexie had just sat down to start her hair and make-up. Voga Beauty had finished all the bridesmaids and family already. They are so talented!!
Corey went over to shoot the guys in the main house. Scott and Lexie elected to wait until the ceremony to see each other. So they had plenty of time to soak in the moments leading up to the ceremony with family and friends. As all of the details came together, we got ready to get these two married!
This ceremony was by far the most emotional one we have been a part of. The moment Scott saw Lexie turn the corner to come down the aisle, he was brought to tears. Watching these two say their vows surrounded by everyone that matters most to them was so beautiful. I was wiping tears away myself by the end of it!
After they said “I do!” we got to go off to shoot photos of just the two of them. My favorite type of couple is the couple who values their wedding photos and realizes how very important they are. These two are completely that. They wanted to take the time to capture moments together and it completely paid off.
