We have been working with this amazing couple since 2018 and have been so excited to see these two get married! We originally met them when we did their engagement session in Uptown Charlotte. They were so much fun to walk around with and capture photos of. We couldn’t wait to reunite with them in 2020 for their wedding at The Hotel Concord!
Fast forward to 2020 and Covid was very much here! Because there were gathering limits they elected to have a small ceremony on their original date. They would have a larger reception in the Fall. Luckily they could still keep their date and their venue! We met Mackenzie at a friend’s home where she was getting her hair and make-up done with all of her girls. After they got the finishing touches we did some fun robe shots outside before heading to the venue.
We all got to the venue and Mackenzie and Zach did the sweetest first touch and letter exchange.
It was time to get them down the aisle to say I do. The room was full of their closest family members and it was the perfect intimate ceremony.
After the ceremony, we stole them away for photos with the wedding party and photos of just the two of them. It was the perfect day and we were so excited the celebrating wasn’t done since we would get to reunite with them for their reception!
Fall came and went and restrictions were still in place. Mackenzie and Zach decided to do the big reception the following year close to their anniversary. It was worth the wait!! All of their friends and families were there and it was an amazing celebration!
