It has been a minute since we have been on here blogging!! We are so excited to finally get back to sharing all the amazing weddings and sessions we have been up to the past year. 2020 brought some huge changes to the wedding industry but it didn’t stop our couple’s from celebrating their love and joy! We are starting off with this beautiful Duke Mansion Wedding!
This incredible couple had to postpone their original April date to July. Originally Stacy and Daren planned to have a larger wedding at the Foundation For The Carolinas in Uptown Charlotte. Once Covid hit, we knew their plans had to pivot. Luckily these two had the amazing Sarah Duckworth Events planning their big day and she swooped in to start making a whole new plan. Duke Mansion had an opening in July that worked perfectly with all of their vendors! It was the perfect place to move this beautiful wedding to.
When July came they made the decision to limit the number of guests to their closest family members. We arrived as the girls were just getting ready to get dressed for the day. Stacy is literally the picture perfect bride. When you meet her she is seriously stunning and then you get to know her and her personality is just as beautiful! She is so kind and so much fun to be around. Daren is the absolute perfect person for her. He is just as kind and caring and such a genuine person.
Once they were both ready, we got them in position to do a first touch and prayer together. It was such a beautiful moment complete with laughter and tears.
The ceremony was equally as beautiful!
They elected to have their reception in the courtyard and it was absolutely breathtaking. Vintage Soul Floral Design transformed this space with the most beautiful florals and decor. It couldn’t have been more stunning.
This intimate, meaningful Duke Mansion wedding is one of our favorites of all time. Between the most amazing couple, to the gorgeous decor, it was a dream!
