We have been looking forward to this sweet couple’s wedding day since the moment we photographed them for their engagement session! We had met up with them leading up to the big day to do a venue walk-through, which made us even more excited for this Oaks Events wedding in Midland, North Carolina.
Because they were waiting until the ceremony to see each other, we got to capture lots of moments of Sam getting ready with her girls and Nick hanging out with the guys. Sam went right into hair and make-up right when we got there with the insanely talented Voga Beauty. The boys were downstairs playing pool and relaxing for the amazing day ahead.
Once Sam was all done with hair and make-up, we captured some sweet moments between her and her bridesmaids. The time had come to put on the finishing touches and get that beautiful wedding dress on. She was absolute bridal perfection. The guests started arriving and we got set up for the ceremony.
The Oaks Events Wedding Ceremony
Everyone made their way down the flower lined aisle, done by the talented Flowers by Stacy. It was time for Sam to make her way towards her future husband. It was such a beautiful ceremony complete with excitement and tears. They said “I do,” in front of their favorite people.
The Oaks Events Wedding Reception
After capturing their family formals, we stole them away to take photos of just the two of them. These two are absolutely perfect together and so sweet together. We sent them into their reception to party the night away with all of their family and friends! Bridal Affairs kept the party going the whole time complete with a photo booth!
The evening ended with a sparkler exit and couldn’t have been more perfect! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Richards’!!
