Intimate Wedding at Forest Hill Church South Park in Charlotte, North Carolina

There is something magical about an intimate wedding that takes place in front of your closest family and friends. When I spoke with Jessica about her wedding day, I instantly became excited. She told me how important it was for them to be in front of their favorite people. They were going to have their ceremony at Forest Hill Church. Following their ceremony, they would have a small reception at Midwood Smokehouse.

Weddings like these make you happy that you are a wedding photographer in Charlotte, North Carolina. Both Jessica and Jameson are completely easy-going and so sweet. One of the coolest things about Jameson is his love of working on cars. When I found out they were going to use his blue Corvette to leave the ceremony and reception, I couldn’t wait!

We met them at the church the morning of their wedding day. Jessica and Jameson were both getting ready to say, “I do” in separate areas and were both completely relaxed. The sweetest moment was when we got the chance to hand deliver them notes they had written to each other. It was such a perfect moment that allowed both of them to be alone and think about the amazing day ahead of them.

As we got them positioned for their first look, you could see the excitement in their faces. Their first look was perfect. They got to have a quiet but equally exciting moment together before everyone arrived. We took all of their bridal party shots and got ready to send them down the aisle. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful! Right after they said “I do”, it began to rain which gave us the perfect excuse to get a great photo of them under an umbrella!

Everyone went to the reception at Midwood Smokehouse, where they got to hear beautiful speeches about the two newlyweds! They ate barbecue and delicious wedding cake and headed out of their reception to their honeymoon in his awesome Corvette! It was the perfect ending to a perfect wedding!
