We had the amazing opportunity to visit one of Charlotte, North Carolina’s newest wedding venues, The Barn at Sandcastle Farm. When you turn onto the road to get to the barn, you are met with instant charm and countryside views. You pull up to this beautiful barn complete with a John Deere tractor right in the front. This Charlotte wedding venue is a rustic, barn-wedding dream!
A family who takes such pride in their property runs this gorgeous wedding venue. We had the pleasure of meeting Sebron at a bridal show this past year, who told us about the barn. She takes care of all of the weddings and events on site and is such a kind person. You will love working with her to make your wedding day special! She took the time to show us the property and we couldn’t wait to start taking photos!
The barn backs up to the South Fork Catawba River and gives you amazing photo opportunities with a ton of variety. We started by the river where you get the best view of the barn. The property has beautiful trees and unique little features that give you such a peaceful feeling. The inside of the barn has amazing lighting features and a wide-open space to hold your reception and dance floor.
If that wasn’t enough, there are cornfields that back up to the back side of the barn and a rustic fence along the side. This place is a photographer’s dream. You have so many backdrops to choose from and the lighting comes through the trees giving a perfect glow. While we there, we had an impromptu bridal shoot to showcase some wedding dresses, which made my day! We got to capture a couple photos of a bride in this beautiful setting.
This Charlotte wedding venue is a gorgeous place for a wedding! We can’t wait to work with Sebron again and come back to shoot here!
