Golden Hour Engagement Session near Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina

This Charlotte engagement photography session outside of uptown is filled with fun, laughter, and the most beautiful lighting! When you meet a couple and they ask you to include their dog in their engagement photos, you know you’ve met the perfect couple! From the minute their session started, their charming personalities and energy was evident. Not to mention their dog seemed to always have a smile across his cute face!! Miller and his gorgeous owner’s Alexis and Scott were an absolute dream!

We started in an office park under one of the most whimsical willow trees we’ve seen in town and began snapping photos. This engagement session was so much fun right from the start. Miller helped break the ice with some funny and cute moments of his own. Then we walked a path where we found rays of sun peaking through the trees giving us beautiful flares in the shots. Before the sun set, we drove over to a nearby field to close out the session. This field is one of our go to locations because of its open nature and perfect lighting. To start, we had Scott, Alexis, and Miller walk around together and Miller’s smile came shining through. I mean…can you get any cuter?! All in all, there was just something magical about this engagement session. With the contrast of the green willow against the glowing orange sunset, it made for the most beautiful shoot. We can’t wait to see Alexis and Scott again and be a part of their wedding day in June!!
