Uptown Charlotte will forever be my favorite spot to take photos. There is so much variety and beautiful back drops that are so perfect for a photo session. Between the buildings and the urban feel, it gave this Uptown Charlotte engagement session the perfect backdrop! We loved getting to photograph Kalyn and Drew during this exciting time!
Kalyn and Drew will be getting married next year at The Ballantyne Hotel and we couldn’t be more excited. When we met up with them for their session, we started at The Mint Museum. From the stairs to the surrounding buildings, it is a perfect starting point. These two could not be more perfect together. They keep each other smiling and laughing and are straight out of a magazine. They have gorgeous style, which makes our job insanely easy!
After the Mint Museum, we made our way towards the green across the street. This area is one of my favorites for so many reasons. You would never expect that in the center of Uptown there are walls covered in ivy with a park right next to it.
One of our favorite things about Uptown Charlotte engagement sessions, is the fact that we get to walk around with our couples and learn more about them. It gives us the chance to hear even more about their wedding day plans but better yet more about them as a couple.
They did a quick outfit change and we made our way through Uptown walking and stopping at awesome little nooks along the way. These two are just the cutest and by far are one of our favorite sessions to date!
2020 can’t come soon enough to reunite with these two!
