This beautiful Triple C Barrel Room wedding was perfect! When I first spoke to Christine, she explained they were having an intimate wedding with their closest family and friends. Christine and her future husband John wanted to do their first look and couple’s portrait in a different location. We planned for McGill Rose Garden and NoDa.
The day was here and so was the rain! The rain was so heavy that we knew there was going to be a lot of mud and water, which was not ideal for a beautiful wedding dress. We made a new plan to move the portraits indoors. The hunt was on for a beautiful location that fit with the look they wanted.
Christine mentioned starting at Workman’s Friend in Plaza Midwood and finishing at the venue. We met them at Workman’s Friend and it was a perfect setting. We started at the fire place in the back and worked our way to the front of the restaurant. It was early in the day so we were practically by ourselves.
We went outside when the rain was light to get some beautiful umbrella shots before heading to the venue. On the way to the venue we found a mural that had a covering to block the rain. We jumped out to get some portraits in front of the mural.
We made our way to the venue to finish up our portraits with them there. It was the perfect day and we couldn’t be happier we got to be a part of it!
