As soon as you pull up, you see this amazing Queen Anne Victorian historic home. This home was built in 1903 and has been completely restored. You would have no idea it was built such a long time ago. When you look further back behind the home, you see these gorgeous gardens. They have little rock waterfalls and bridges, which is the perfect backdrop for photos. When you cross through the gardens, you arrive to a dairy barn, which is so rustic and beautiful. It is the perfect backdrop for a Charlotte wedding.
They dedicate one of the buildings on site to the bridal suite for the girls to get ready in. I met the girls a few hours before the ceremony there. They were already picture perfect when I went to meet them. They were so calm and ready to get the ceremony rolling. Corey went to meet the guys at the barn since they were waiting until the ceremony to see each other.
The time came for the couple to walk down the aisle and say, “I do.” Before Michelle made her way down, their son and nephew walked down the aisle together along with her niece. This was quite possibly the cutest thing I have ever seen. These two are the best of friends and got about half way down the aisle when they decided to turn around and run the other way. Once the three of them got down the aisle, it was Michelle’s turn. She looked absolutely gorgeous as she made her way to David.
They exchanged their vows and it was the perfect ceremony. We took photos and brought them to the reception. This group knows how to have a good time! They were out dancing the night away!! It was the perfect end to a perfect day!
Congratulations Michelle and David! We loved getting to be a part of your special day!
