Retirement Celebration at Fahrenheit in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina

This Retirement Celebration in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina was a blast! We got to know this company a few years ago when we did a different retirement event for them up in Lake Norman at The Peninsula Club. The Peninsula Club is a gorgeous location for any event! We have had the pleasure of doing a wedding there previously. The lake backdrop with the golf course is beautiful.

This new Retirement Event took place in a completely different but equally as gorgeous location. It was held at Fahrenheit in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. They started the evening on the rooftop patio overlooking the Charlotte skyline. When I tell you I haven’t seen a better skyline view, I am not joking! It is absolutely gorgeous up there! I basically want to move in and do all of our photo shoots and events there.

The event was absolutely amazing! So many people came out to celebrate the retirement of such an important person to this company! They had cocktail hour on the rooftop patio. After cocktail hour they made their way inside into a private ballroom for a plated dinner. With floor to ceiling windows inside you get a beautiful view from the other side of the building. They ate a delicious dinner and dessert from the restaurant as they chatted with all of their fellow co-workers. The evening ended with a video from his daughter, and speeches from some of the many people that had the pleasure of working with him.

To say it was a wonderful celebration is an understatement.

One other thing I have to mention is how amazing the staff at Fahrenheit is. If you are looking for a place to host an event, I strongly recommend them! They took such great care of everyone in the room including us! I have never worked an event where people were worried about taking care of the other vendors as much as the guests. They were so sweet and awesome to work with!
