Outdoor, Nature Engagement Session Outside of Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina

I am over the moon over this gorgeous Charlotte, North Carolina engagement session of Troyanna and Anthony. We were so excited to finally get to meet these two. When I first spoke with Troyanna, she knew she wanted a nature engagement shoot. We knew the perfect place! This field, which is 20 minutes south of Uptown Charlotte is one of our favorites places to bring couples for a portrait session. Not to mention there are so many surrounding spots that you can hop in your car to go to, to get a variety of locations and backdrops for photos.

We first drove out to this archway of trees that is one of most unique spots we have stumbled across. You would have no idea its there but one day Corey and I found it when we were riding our bikes. It is in the most random spot but makes for a perfect backdrop in photos.

We then drove to this gorgeous large oak tree outside of the field we love. The sun manages to peek through the branches, which gives the prettiest light. We finished up our beautiful session at our favorite field! There is definitely something about a nature landscape in a portrait session that brings the focus to the couple and truly showcases their personalities and love for each other. This is evident in their engagement session.

Troyanna and Anthony are one of the sweetest couple’s we have met. The way her face lights up when he is near her and making her laugh is something out of a fairy tale. When they interact with each other and dance, he doesn’t take his eyes off of her. We loved watching them together and getting to photograph them. They are such a beautiful couple and I am so happy our path crossed!

We are so excited for their wedding next year! It will definitely be a day full of lots of love and laughter and we can’t wait. Till then enjoy their beautiful engagement session below!
